"Wine Pick Up Party"
"We recently went to our first 'Wine Pick Up Party' as
Sunland Vintage Wine Club Members and had an absolutely fantastic time. The Food Truck (Cousins Lobster) was serving copious amounts of Maine lobster in each of their menu selections and everything was delicious and filling. I’m quite certain that I’ve never eaten that much lobster in one evening. The music (Mike West) was delightful and perfectly
appropriate - we even bought one of his CDs onsite.
The ‘crowd’ was sophisticated yet relaxed, no stuffiness here.
I don’t believe Debby or Mike would have it any other way.
With other club members volunteering to help out, everyone was in a great mood and having a great time, so the overall atmosphere was fun and engaging. And, of course, the wines were fantastic (as always). Generous tastings of new releases were poured, there were opportunities to taste other
previously-untasted vintages, and the usual $5 glasses of wine were flowing and throughly enjoyed. And the free gift raffles were a delightful highlight throughout the evening.
All-in-all, we had a fantastic time, made a few new friends and yes, picked up our wine club shipment. We are anxiously looking forward to the next 'pick up' party."
