As a wine high in tannins, Nebbiolo requires more aging and bigger oak to help soften those tannins. This is why one can “make Nebbiolo for their daughter’s wedding”, as the saying goes. As a result, we produce a Nebbiolo that is far more reminiscent of the more expensive Barolo wines from Italy. The nose exhibits a wide range of complex and exotic aromas, from cherry to currant to coffee to clove. This wine will be big on the Palate yet provide the expected rich, velvety finish.
